For over a decade I worked as Editor, Layout Artist, and Production Lead for community newspapers across British Columbia. From mountain-town newsrooms to regional publications, I handled everything from daily news layout and feature stories to advertising design, photography, and full production. I designed compelling print advertisements for local businesses, created editorial layouts that made complex community stories clear and engaging, and captured local events through photography. Working under tight weekly deadlines, I consistently delivered clean, professional publications that served as the heartbeat of their communities.
